The PGA TOUR heads to Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72, 7,568 yards, bentgrass greens) in Dublin, Ohio for the Memorial Tournament, which is the seventh of eight Signature Events this season. Since this tournament’s inception in 1976, every edition of the Memorial has been played at Muirfield Village. There will be 72 golfers competing this week and after the first two rounds, the top-50 and ties and any player within 10 shots of the lead will advance through the cut.
Below, I have featured a make-cut parlay to consider for the Memorial Tournament on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Matt Kuchar + Sahith Theegala + Max Greyserman to make the cut +134
Kuchar is a previous winner at Murifield Village, who has made 16-of-18 cuts at the par 72. No player in this field has made more cuts at Muirfield Village than Kuchar and he ranks seventh among this world-class field in strokes gained per round at Jack’s place. The savvy veteran has made 13 of his last 17 cuts entering this tournament and Kuchar is a great bet advance through the cut this week.
While Theegala hasn’t contended in quite some time, the 27-year-old is still cashing checks as a consistent cut maker. Theegala impressively has only failed to make the cut once in his last 19 starts. Theegala also has been successful at Murifield Village in the past, never missing a cut in four starts at the venue with two top-12 finishes. Overall, Theegala is gaining a strong 1.1 strokes per round at Muirfield Village.
Up next is Greyerman, who has never competed at Muirfield Village before, but his excellent form should translate into a made cut for him this week. Greyserman has impressively advanced to the weekend in 24 of his last 26 starts, and he has generated six top-25 finishes this season, including a T22 at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week. The 29-year-old has gained strokes with both his irons and putter at back-to-back events, and Greyserman has made made seven consecutive cuts at courses that feature bentgrass greens.
