The Sky have had a miserable start to the 2025 season. Chicago holds a 0-3 record with a -24.3 point differential — the worst in the WNBA by over nine points.
Meanwhile, the Mercury are 3-1 with a +6.0 point differential despite not having Kahleah Copper ready yet.
Phoenix is a 7.5-point favorite at home, and the game total is set at 159.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Here are my favorite Angel Reese prop bets for Tuesday’s game.
Best Angel Reese Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Angel Reese under 11.5 points (+110)
Reese is one of the most polarizing players in basketball. She records ridiculous rebounding numbers, but receives a lot of criticism for how many come off her own misses.
Another critique of her game is her efficiency. She’s a 6-foot-3 forward that primary shoots inside but is shooting just 30.3 percent from the field this year. It’s quite a drop-off from her rookie season average of 39.1 percent from the field.
Reese’s sophomore slump is real — at least in terms of scoring — and it’s unlikely to fix itself tonight. The Mercury are a tough team, even without Copper in the lineup.
Phoenix features one of the best frontcourts in the league with Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas sharing the floor. Both players are in their first season with the Mercury after spending multiple years with Dallas and Connecticut, respectively.
Thomas is one of the best defenders in the league, having finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting twice in the past three seasons. She’s also had three top five MVP finishes in the past three years. Sabally on the other hand has been a consistent scorer, averaging at least 17.9 points per game in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The 6-foot-4 Sabally and 6-foot-2 Thomas will make scoring difficult for Reese, especially on a team that lacks a true No. 1 option. Six Chicago players average at least 8.3 points per game, but none average more than 9.7.
Reese’s field goal percentage should improve a bit this season, but tonight’s not the night for a breakout game. The Mercury are too good defensively, even when missing Copper from the lineup.
