NBA Best Bets: Top Shai Gilgeous-Alexander player props for Thunder vs. Timberwolves Game 4

While the Oklahoma City Thunder held a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves going into the weekend, a 143-101 Game 3 blowout in the Wolves’ favor kept the series competitive. With Game 4 on deck for Monday night, the Thunder look to shake off the stink of their last performance and steal a win on the road.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should once again step up to the forefront of this matchup. Here’s the best SGA prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Thunder vs. Timberwolves Game 4.

Similar to last time out, the Thunder come into Game 4 as narrow three-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. They hold -155 odds to win on the Moneyline, while the Timberwolves come in as +130 underdogs to win outright. This 219.5 game total sits a tick higher than Game 3’s, too.

DraftKings Sportsbook lists Gilgeous-Alexander’s prop lines at 31.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line is set at 43.5 across the three major categories.

With 14 games under his belt this postseason, Gilgeous-Alexander averages 28.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per contest. SGA averaged 34.5 points and 8.5 assists over the first two games of the Western Conference Finals, but posted just 14 points and six assists in Saturday’s loss.

SGA has exceeded the 4.5-board mark in seven of 14 playoff games this postseason. While not elite on the glass by any means, Gilgeous-Alexander typically flirts with this number and averages almost a whole rebound more than the 4.5 line across this playoff run. The -140 odds don’t make this a main play, but it’s a building block to your betting card for sure.

Additionally, over 6.5 assists was also my top Gilgeous-Alexander prop bet last game, and although he came up just shy with six dimes, the line has still ticked up a notch on DKSB to 7.5. While it may drop back down to 6.5 throughout the day, taking the under on 7.5 if you can get it looks like a real option here. The MVP has gone under that 7.5 line in nine of 14 postseason games, so it feels pretty safe in Game 4.
