The Dodgers are 32-20 after their loss on Saturday night, while the Mets improved to 31-21. Both teams are in playoff position coming into this game with the Dodgers two games up in the NL West and the Mets in a Wild Card spot. Overall, the Mets are stlight favorites at -115 on the Moneyline with a game total of 8.5 combined runs.

Shohei Ohtani 2+ Total Bases (+100)
Ohtani is actually hitting .296 on the season with a total of 128 total bases in his 50 games for an average of 2.5 total bases per contest. He actually has a pretty solid batting average against lefties, going 24-for-70 (.343) with 40 total bases in 73 plate appearances. Getting this total base number at plus money is a good value this Sunday night despite his struggles on Saturday.
Ohtani has only had one total base in the first two games of the series and seems overdue to make an impact. Against Senga, he is 1-for-1 with a double and two walks in their limited meetings in their careers.
At this point in the season, Ohtani leads the majors with a 65.3% hard-hit rate per Statcast and has the second-highest average exit velocity at 96.1 miles per hour. All that hard contact has resulted in multiple total bases in seven of his last 12 games and 13 of his last 20. Ohtani has been a little more strikeout-prone this season than in his historic 2024, but his ISO, xWOBA and wRC+ have remained very consistent overall.
He has lots of power potential and just needs one extra-base hit to deliver the win in this prop bet, or he can also reach the green with a pair of singles. It’s not a lock after his slow start to the series, but I still think he’ll find a way to get to multiple total bases Sunday night in the spotlight matchup to close out the weekend.
