NBA Playoff Best Bets: Knicks vs. Pacers Best Prop Bets for Game 3

Updated:

By: Alex Hunter

The Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and Pacers continue Sunday with Game 3 in Indiana. Currently, the Pacers hold a 2-0 series lead. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Pacers are a two-point favorite for Game 3 and this contest carries a total of 224 points.

Below, I dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Sunday’s Game 3 between the Knicks and Pacers on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best Knicks vs. Pacers Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Jalen Brunson O 30.5 Points (-125)

While the Knicks trail this series 0-2, Brunson has been outstanding. The point guard has been putting the team on his back, scoring 43 and 36 points in the first two games of this best of seven vs. the Pacers. In this series, Brunson is handling an eye popping 40.2% usage rate and he is attempting 26 shots per game, while logging 38.5 minutes per game.

Looking to avoid an 0-3 deficit Sunday, Brunson should continue to be extremely aggressive and he should surpass 30.5 points in this up-tempo matchup vs. the Pacers, who rank sixth in pace this season. Brunson has exceeded 30.5 points in three of his five matchups with Indiana this season and when coming off a loss this postseason, Brunson is averaging 33.6 PPG in his next start and he has topped 30.5 in three of these five games.

Aaron Nesmith O 12.5 Points (-125)

Nesmith is in the midst of an excellent postseason. Including his 30-point performance in the Pacers’ epic comeback win in Game 1 vs. the Knicks, Nesmith is averaging 15.7 PPG during these playoffs and he has surpassed 12.5 points in eight of his 12 starts. Nesmith’s is shooting 54% from the field and 54% on three pointers, and role wise, he is logging 30.6 minutes per game and he is handling a 16.8% usage rate this postseason.

Role players always tend to play better at home, especially in the playoffs, and Nesmith is an excellent bet for over 12.5 points on his home floor in Game 3.

OG Anunoby U 2.5 Made Three Pointers (-188)

2.5 made three pointers is just too high of a line for Anunoby vs. the Pacers and he is a lock for this under. This postseason, the forward is averaging 2.4 made three pointers per game and he is shooting 35% from beyond the arc. Anunoby has stayed under 2.5 made three pointers in seven of his 14 starts during these playoffs and he has only exceeded 2.5 made three pointers in one of his four matchups with Indiana this season.

The Pacers are giving up the eighth-fewest made three pointers on the seventh-lowest percentage this season and Anunoby hitting 3+ three pointers in this tough, road matchup is unlikely.
