Marcell Ozuna More Than 0.5 Home Runs
Marcell Ozuna’s career numbers against Nick Pivetta are staggering. They have faced each other 31 times and Ozuna has an incredible six home runs in those 31 at-bats. Hitting a home run every five at-bats over that big of a sample size against a single starting pitcher is nearly unheard of in baseball. Ozuna should feel very confident heading to the plate in this game. Not only does he have a great history against Pivetta, but he has also hit three home runs in his past four games. Ozuna is red hot and should be ready to hit another home run in this game. Pivetta has given up a home run in each of his past four starts and could give up another one to Ozuna tonight.
Manny Machado More Than 0.5 Runs
Manny Machado is off to a strong start to the 2025 season in San Diego. Between Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., Gavin Sheets and Luis Arraez, the core of the Padres’ lineup is strong. Machado ranks 12th in the MLB in runs scored, having crossed home plate 33 times this season. Machado should get on base in this game and have a good chance to score another run. He has a great career history against Atlanta’s starter, Chris Sale. In 28 career at-bats against Sale, Machado has a batting average of .357. Sale has been worse at home this season, with an ERA over 4.00 in Atlanta. Sale has already faced the Padres once this season, and in that game, Machado went 2/3 with a walk and ended up scoring three runs. If he can replicate even a percentage of what he did in the first matchup against Sale, he will register a run.
Bobby Witt Jr. More Than 0.5 RBIs
Bobby Witt Jr. finished second in AL MVP voting last season, behind only a historic season from Aaron Judge. Witt is off to another phenomenal start to this season. He is batting .305, leads the MLB in doubles and is tied for fourth in the MLB in WAR. Witt has 16 career at-bats against today’s Twins starter, Pablo Lopez. He is batting just .250 against Lopez, but all four of those hits have been for extra bases, including a home run. Witt should be able to pick up an extra-base hit or two and drive in a run in this game. Witt has three RBIs over his past two games and should carry that positive momentum over to this game and drive in another run.
Eugenio Suarez More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Eugenio Suarez is one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the past few weeks. Over the past 15 days, he is batting .283 with a .630 SLG and an OPS of .994. Suarez has 15 RBIs over that stretch, the fifth-most of any player in baseball. Suarez now ranks seventh in all of baseball in runs batted in this season. Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas has been inconsistent so far this season. He has struggled to strike out batters this season, averaging just three strikeouts per start this season. Suarez personally has a career .429 batting average against Mikolas in 14 career at-bats against the rightie. He should be able to pick up an extra-base hit in this game, gaining over 1.5 total bases.
Rafael Devers More Than 1.5 Total Bases (Game 1)
Rafael Devers had Red Sox fans worried over the first stretch of the 2025 MLB season, but he has fully gotten back to his old ways in recent weeks. Over the past 15 days, Devers is batting .413 with five home runs and 16 RBIs. That is tied for the most home runs and the second-most RBIs in baseball over that stretch. Orioles starter Christian Povich has struggled this season, sporting an ERA of 5.23. Even if Devers can’t get an extra-base hit against Povich, the Orioles also have the sixth-worst bullpen ERA in baseball this season. Whether it’s getting multiple hits or registering an extra-base hit, Devers should get over 1.5 total bases.
Seiya Suzuki More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Seiya Suzuki is having a solid start to his season with the Cubs. The Cubs are in first place in the NL Central, and they have scored more runs than any other team in baseball this season. Suzuki has been an integral part of the scorching Chicago offense. Suzuki is currently tied for the team lead in home runs and is the team’s solo leader in RBIs. In fact, Suzuki has more RBIs than any other player in baseball not named Aaron Judge this season. Suzuki also has a solid career history against today’s Reds starter, Hunter Greene. In his career against Greene, Suzuki is 6/13 with two doubles, a triple and two home runs. Five extra-base hits in 13 career at-bats equals out to a ridiculous 1.154 SLG. He should be able to pick up an extra-base hit in this game and get over 1.5 total bases.

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
