DraftKings WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks: Top Plays for Wednesday 5/21/25

By: Charlie Cummings

Three games are scheduled across Wednesday’s WNBA slate. The action will kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET as the Wings play the Lynx. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year isย Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will examine my top Pick6 plays for today’s action, 5/21/25. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage set, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA slate.

Napheesa Collier More Than 24.5 Points

If you need a more detailed write-up on this game, I’ve got you covered here. The skinny of this game is: Napheesa Collier is a monster, and the Dallas Wings have little at their disposal to stop her.

Phee, the DPOY and MVP runner-up this past season, scored 57 points in her first two games. The blend of overwhelming physical talent and scoring craft is a sight to behold. In my mind, the only thing that threatens this is the risk of an elite Lynx team blowing out the rebuilding Wings. And that leads me to my next play.

Paige Bueckers Less Than 14.5 Points

Don’t get me wrong โ€” Paige Bueckers is a phenom. But this is a tough, tough league. Rookie year adjustments for talented offensive players can be more like crash landings. And these Minnesota Lynx aren’t inclined to make it easy on Paige.

The Wings played the Lynx on opening night, and Bueckers was in trouble. She scored just 10 points on 3-of-10 shooting. Minnesota has an intense group of defenders, headlined by the aforementioned DPOY Napheesa Collier. On top of that, Bueckers still needs to share touches with Arike Ogunbowale, who is not inclined to cede the top spot anytime soon. It could be a long, long night for the No. 1 pick.

Courtney Williams More Than 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

For those that watched the Finals this past season, you know that Courtney Williams is a BUCKET. An incredible tough shot maker and hard-nosed defender, she may be on the verge of a breakout campaign.

With Kayla McBride out to begin the year, a lot of the perimeter creation burden has fallen on Court. She’s responded with 19 PPG and over nine assists per game in the first two. I doubt that she’s suddenly become a walking 20 and 10, but with how locked in she is (and the state of Dallas’ perimeter defense), I’m counting on an all-around stat line in this one.
