DraftKings WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks: Top Plays for Thursday 5/22/25

By: Charlie Cummings

Two games are scheduled across Thursday’s WNBA slate. The action will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET as the Fever play the Dream. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will examine my top Pick6 plays for today’s action, 5/22/25. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage set, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA slate.

Caitlin Clark More Than 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Another day, another over on Caitlin Clark’s P/R/A. She’s crushed this number in the first two games and I don’t think an end is in sight.

This Dream defense is stout on the interior but struggles outside of the paint. Brittney Griner repeatedly being drawn to the level of the screen to stop the WNBA’s best shooter is a tall task. If they try to double her off the ball, she can make the right passing reads and generate assists. This game will also have a lot of pace to it on top of little defense on the perimeter.

I’m riding these Caitlin P/R/A marks until the wheels fall off. Come hop on the wagon.

Rhyne Howard More Than 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Speaking of a lack of defense, Rhyne Howard got all the shots she wanted in the previous matchup against the Fever. The young All-Star got up 13 threes and 17 total shots in the first matchup, and though she only made 5-of-17, it led to 20 total points.

Indiana doesn’t have the kind of perimeter defense that can stop Rhyne from getting the looks she wants. I’m guessing this bad shooting streak can’t keep up much longer, and even a slight uptick in makes from last game could put her well over 25 points. Rhyne is more than due for a big night, and who better than the Fever to allow a shotmaking guard to get hot?

Brionna Jones More Than 14.5 Points

Brionna Jones has been on a heater to start the year. The former MIP and 6POY is averaging a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double to start the season. I doubt that’ll stop in a game with this much offense.

This frontcourt pairing of Brionna Jones and Brittney Griner appears to be working like a charm. Griner’s gravity around the rim has allowed Jones to work further outside, taking more jumpers and drawing a ton of contact on drives and in the paint. Aliyah Boston is excellent at controlling the paint, but this duo is too much for one defender to handle.
