Here are some of my picks for a few of the questions listed above.
Who will attempt the first pinfall?
The longer this match goes on, the more it benefits Ospreay due to his endurance. Page’s style is more brutal and intended to wear his opponents down quickly, whereas Ospreay has a methodical, high-endurance style. Given this, Page will likely attempt the first pinfall in this match.
Answer: “Hangman” Adam Page
Will any pinfall attempt result in a one-count?
We have seen this occur a few times in matches involving Ospreay. I particularly remember a sequence during his match with Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution 2024 where Takeshita did just this. During this fast-paced action, it wouldn’t shock me for Ospreay or Page to kick out after one. As noted above, Page will likely try and end this one early, so an early kick out feels likely.
Answer: Yes
Which move will be successfully performed first?
Based on my sentiment that Page will aim to end this match early, I predict he’ll successfully land the Buckshot Lariat first. It’s a tough call, as the Hidden Blade is quicker to execute, but I believe Page will connect with his move first. Of the four listed moves, these two are the most likely to occur first. I pick Page as the victor for this question.
Answer: Buckshot Lariat by “Hangman” Adam Page
