2025 NFL Futures: Best MVP Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

The 2025 NFL schedule release is finally upon us. Now that we know how the cards are laid out, it’s time to get into some MVP future prop bets.

Odds for the 2025-26 MVP are listed here on DraftKings Sportsbook. Now let’s dig into some of the best bets to take home the hardware.

Brock Purdy: +3000

I don’t need to explain this one any further: check out my analysis from earlier.

C.J. Stroud: +2500

C.J. Stroud is in perfect post-hype territory for MVP. After a ROY campaign where he finished eighth in MVP voting, he regressed hard in his sophomore campaign, along with the rest of Houston’s offense. Now the story of his talent can be retold.

He’s got the receiving talent around him. Nico Collins is proving to be a true No. 1 option. Christian Kirk arrives from Jacksonville as a more than capable No. 2. John Metchie III can work well all over the field as a solid No. 3 receiver, and will be behind tight end Dalton Schultz in the pecking order. They have good depth after drafting Iowa State teammates Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins. On top of that, Joe Mixon is solid, but nobody will confuse him for the driver of this offense.

The main thing holding back a potential Stroud breakout campaign is the quality of the team. It’s very hard to win an MVP without getting at least a top two playoff seed in your conference. And if Houston can pull that off, it’s possible the weakness of the AFC South works against his case. The path relies on Stroud being so dominant on a 12+ win team that his case is undeniable. With his talents, that’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Jayden Daniels: +750

Daniels is my best bet among the “favorites” in a crowded field. He’s fifth in odds behind Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes. Let’s work on some process of elimination here.

Voter fatigue is a real thing. Jackson has two MVPs and split the AP and PFWA voting last year, so call it 2.5. Josh Allen just won. Joe Burrow doesn’t have any, but if throwing for 4,900 yards and 43 scores only gets him a fourth-place finish, it may never happen. And while nobody should doubt Patrick Mahomes’ ability, his stats are becoming a reflection of his depleted receiver core.

Let’s look deeper at Mahomes. Over his first five seasons, he averaged 4,700 yards and 38 scores. That’s down to 4,050 yards and 27 scores over the past two seasons. Still, the excellence of the Chiefs keeps him in the conversation, leading to sixth and seventh places in the last two years. But unless prime Tyreek Hill or some magical steroids for Travis Kelce are coming through the door, his odds only serve to boost those behind him in my eyes.

The talent of Daniels is undeniable. He racked up 3,500 yards in the air, almost 900 on the ground and 31 total scores. That was good enough for a ROY award and a seventh-place MVP finish. With the hype building in Washington and more weapons being added, an increase in his production without too big of a drop-off in Washington’s win total could spell an award for the young quarterback.
