In the third inning of Tuesday’s game, Red Sox SP Walker Buehler threw what he thought was a strike. It was not called a strike, and the Mets stole second base on the play. Buehler was beyond heated, and got into a screaming match with the umpire that caused him to be ejected. Red Sox manager Alex Cora then got in the face of the umpire, and was ejected as well.
Prior to the ejection, Buehler had thrown four strikeouts, walked two and given up no hits.
