Best Thunder vs. Timberwolves Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Anthony Edwards U 26.5 Points (-110)
The Thunder lead the NBA in defensive rating and Edwards has struggled in this brutal matchup this season. In four matchups with Oklahoma City, the wing averages 22.3 PPG while shooting an ugly 36% from the field. Edwards only topped 26.5 points in one of these four matchups. Julius Randle only competed in one of these four games, and in that contest, Edwards only scored 20 points. This is very noteworthy, as Randle is fully healthy right now and with the high-usage forward available, Edwards’ role naturally suffers.
When sharing the floor with Randle this season, Edwards’ usage decreases 1.1 percentage points. Facing the Thunder in Oklahoma City is the worst possible matchup and 26.5 points is just too high of a line for Edwards in this tough spot.
Naz Reid U 1.5 Made Three Pointers (+100)
Reid is averaging 2.3 made three pointers per game against the Thunder this season, but this number is totally misleading. Randle was inactive for three of these games, resulting in a starting role for Reid. In the lone game that Reid and Randle faced Oklahoma City together, Reid only went 1-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Randle has arguably been the Timberwolves’ best player this postseason and with him thriving, Reid has seen his role diminish. The sixth man for Minnesota has seen less than 25 minutes in three straight games and has only hit multiple three pointers in one of these contests. The Thunder are limiting their opponents to the lowest three-point percentage this season and Reid is a great bet for under 1.5 made three pointers at this +100 price.
Jalen Williams O 4.5 Assists (-145)
This 4.5-assist line is far too low for Williams and he is a must-bet for this over. During these playoffs, the first-time All-Star is averaging 5.7 assists per game on 10.8 potential assists per outing. Both these numbers rank second for the Thunder this postseason, only trailing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Williams has surpassed 4.5 assists in nine of his 11 starts this postseason, and he averaged 6.6 assists per game against the Timberwolves in the regular season while exceeding 4.5 assists in all four of these matchups.
