The Western Conference Finals are getting underway on Tuesday night as the Thunder host the Timberwolves. Here are the best player props to consider for Chet Holmgren on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Thunder are 7.5-point favorites against the Timberwolves, with an o/u of 216 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are the latest lines for Holmgren on DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 14.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers.

Chet Holmgren has not quite reached the heights that some envisioned for him when he was drafted second overall in 2022. However, Holmgren is still a very valuable member of this Thunder team, the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook to win the NBA Finals with just four remaining teams. Holmgren has not been an elite offensive threat, but he is averaging a double-double so far this postseason. As a seven-footer who can play good defense and put the ball on the floor, he will always have an important role in this team. However, his minutes have been a bit sporadic so far this postseason.

The Thunder frequently played a smaller lineup against the Nuggets. Between Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic, the two members of the Nuggets’ frontcourt who frequently play on the perimeter, Gordon was slightly undersized for a power forward. In the series against the Timberwolves, that will not be the case. Rudy Gobert is a more “old school” center, and Julius Randle prefers playing from the free throw line, rather than out at the three-point line. The Thunder will need more size in the paint defensively against the likes of Gobert and Randle than they did against the Nuggets. Both Isaiah Hartenstein and Holmgren should play a big role in matching up with Minnesota.

In this series, Holmgren’s impact should be more notable on the defensive end. Julius Randle has been a force this postseason, averaging over 23 PPG. Holmgren’s size will be key in trying to slow Randle down, while also being a rim protector against the slashing Anthony Edwards. My favorite prop for this game is for Holmgren to combine for over 2.5 blocks and steals. Holmgren had at least one steal in six out of seven games against Denver, after averaging 0.7 steals per game in the regular season. Holmgren is also averaging 2.2 blocks per game so far this postseason. If he can pick up two or more blocks and a steal, he will get over this combination prop. He has cleared this number in seven out of 11 games so far this postseason and with the amount of defensive work he will have to do in this game, he should clear it again.

Best Bet: Chet Holmgren o2.5 Blocks + Steals (-130)
