Brighton vs. Liverpool prediction, pick for Monday 5/19/25

Brighton and Liverpool will play their penultimate game in this season’s Premier League on Monday as the champions travel to The Amex Stadium. There is nothing on the line for this game, as Liverpool won the league a few weeks ago. Brighton could technically still qualify for Europe in 8th place, but it’s unlikely.

DraftKings Sportsbook has you covered with plenty of available bets for this clash.

Brighton vs. Liverpool prediction, pick

Brighton Draw No Bet (-105)

I will be taking Brighton Draw No Bet (-105) for this one. For this bet to hit, we need Brighton to win the game. However, if it’s a tie the bet is pushed, and if Liverpool wins obviously it’s a loss.

In their 18 home games this season, Brighton have won seven, drawn eight and lost three. The American Express Stadium has been an incredibly difficult place to go to this season and win for opposing teams.

Since winning the title on April 27th, Liverpool have taken their foot off the gas, and deservedly so. First the Reds lost 3-1 to Chelsea with a largely rotated team before blowing a 2-0 lead to draw with Arsenal 2-2 at home last weekend. Expect Liverpool to continue to use these last few games for rotation.

While there is not much on the line for Brighton, they still have plenty to prove to the rest of the league as they sit in 9th spot in the table. It is also their last home game of the season, so these players will want to send the fans home on a good note. Brighton should be the far more intense team in this game, as Liverpool look ahead to lifting the trophy on the last weekend of the season.

In the previous three matchups between these sides at the Amex Stadium, Liverpool won one, Brighton won one and there was one tie. The Seagulls have been in a good run of form in recent weeks as they are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games. Expect the Seagulls to get a positive result in this one against a weakened Liverpool starting XI.
