Scottie Scheffler took full control of this tournament during his third, as he fired a six-under 65 in very tough conditions. After bogeying the 13th hole to briefly drop out of the lead, Scheffler then drove the green on the drivable par-4 14th, where he would tap in for eagle. He then birdied holes 15, 17 and 18 to take a commanding three-shot lead over Alex Noren.

It was an absolute masterclass from the World No. 1 on Saturday, who led the field in both SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Approach, gaining 6.21 strokes combined. Scheffler is an overwhelming -450 favorite to take home the trophy on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Things were absolutely rolling for Bryson DeChambeau, who was five-under par and bogey-free through 15 holes. However, that’s when things began to unravel. After bogeying 16, he hit his tee shot on the par-3 16th right into the drink, which ultimately led to a double bogey. The reigning U.S. Open champ fell from T1 all the way to T8 after his blunder and now sits six shots back of Scheffler. DeChambeau is currently +3000 to win on DraftKings Sportsbook.

It was a tough day for 36-hole leader Jhonattan Vegas, who shot a two-over 73 on Saturday. He opened with back-to-back bogeys on the first two holes and simply could never recover. Vegas got back to even on his round before finishing with bogeys on 15 and 18. He’s in a three-way tie with Si Woo Kim and Jon Rahm at five-under par.

As for Rahm, he looked the best he’s looked in a quite a while, firing a Saturday 66 with seven birdies.

Some other notables who had tough days were Max Homa and Tommy Fleetwood, who each shot five over on their rounds, the latter of which going birdie-free.

Here is the updated leaderboard as we head to the final round:
