With Scottie Scheffler going bananas on Saturday and currently leading the field by three strokes, he’s now an overwhelming -450 favorite to lift the Wanamaker Trophy. This basically rules out any type of outright winner bet, so we will look to other markets.
Bryson DeChambeau Winner Without Scottie Scheffler +600
DeChambeau had the best round on the course going up until the 15th hole on Saturday, where he would go bogey, double over his final three holes and finish at two-under par. Nonetheless, he is still putting the lights out so far this week, as well as displaying some excellent work around the greens.
We know his massive advantage off-the-tee will always be there, so to see other parts of his game clicking should have people worried. He’s currently six back of Scheffler heading into Sunday, so it’s unlikely he tracks down the World No. 1 barring something outlandish taking place. However, DeChambeau is currently just three shots back of Alex Noren for second place, and with the way he’s looked the past two days, that does not seem like an insurmountable lead whatsoever.
Jon Rahm Top European +170
Rahm has looked vintage Rahm thus far, currently ranking No. 1 in this field in SG: Off-the-Tee, while sitting 20th in putting as well. Right now the top Euro is Alex Noren, who sits at eight-under-par. Rahm is currently just two shots back heading into Sunday.
While Noren has looked great, this is still only his second start back from a hamstring injury that’s kept him out the whole season. Rahm is simply the superior ball-striker of the two, so look for the Spaniard to close the gap early and not look back, making this a nice play at +170.
Michael Kim Under 3.5 Birdies Round 4 -130
Kim has been very vocal on X about a nagging back injury that he’s been dealing with. While he did make the cut this week at Quail Hollow, he currently sits T63 and has lost strokes both off-the-tee and on approach for the week. He’s been carried by his putter, but that went cold on Saturday as he lost 3.16 strokes on the greens for his round and made just one birdie.
With pins expected to be tucked and conditions more difficult, Kim will not have a ton of opportunities to score on Sunday, so I will lay the juice here and say he does not make four birdies on his round.
