There was a blowout in the Garden tonight. Everyone left unscathed as the New York Knicks devastated the Boston Celtics 119-81 to win the series and move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jalen Brunson ($10,800, 40 FPTS) did his thing as usual, scoring 23 points with six rebounds and six assists. It was a significant bounce-back for OG Anunoby ($8,000, 45.75 FPTS), who recorded 23 points as well after scoring just six points on 1-of-12 shooting last game. Josh Hart ($8,400, 44.25 FPTS) posted the Josh Hart-iest stat line he could with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,000, 40 FPTS) racked up 21 points and 12 rebounds as well, his seventh double-double in his last eight playoff games.

The Celtics couldn’t get going in this one. New York jumped out to a lead and kept piling on until the benches were emptied. Jaylen Brown ($10,400, 38.5 FPTS) did all he could in Game 5 to keep the season alive, but didn’t have enough tonight. His seven turnovers were devastating.

Jrue Holiday ($7,000, 14.5 FPTS) struggled in what could have been his last game in Celtics green, scoring just four points with four rebounds and three assists. Ditto for Kristaps Porzingis ($5,000, 12.75 FPTS), who struggled with illness all series after an injury-riddled season. It may have been his last game in Boston as well, as major changes are bound to come.

The defending champions’ season is over. A new champion will be crowned this year. Game 1 of the ECF between the Knicks and the Indiana Pacers will be played at the Garden this Wednesday, May 21st. New York opens as a -3.5 home favorite on the DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total set at 222.
