Golf’s second major tees off at Quail Hollow this week as the best golfers in the world compete for the PGA Championship.

This is a look at the best Tommy Fleetwood prop bet to make for the event on DraftKings Sportsbook.

PGA Championship: Tommy Fleetwood Props

The PGA Championship is being played at the Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The PGA Championship is the second major of the year, with Rory McIlroy winning The Masters a few weeks ago. Quail Hollow is a Par-71 golf course and ranges 7,626 yards. The greens are bermudagrass, and while there are plenty of trees lining the course, it is one of the easier major venues. Leading up to this week, many players have expressed that Quail Hollow doesn’t require much strategy or planning. It is a “bomber’s course” where most players will almost always pull driver and the longer hitters will get a big advantage.

After winning The Masters, Rory McIlroy has great odds to win the PGA Championship, but he is still behind Scottie Scheffler as the favorite to win. However, some of the world’s best players from both the PGA TOUR and LIV, including Bryson DeChambeau, Xander Schauffele and Jon Rahm, will also be ready to compete. The last time a major was played at Quail Hollow was the 2017 PGA Championship, which was won by Justin Thomas. Rory McIlroy won the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow and has won there a total of four times throughout his career. Those are just a few of the players to look out for this weekend, but another top player in the mix is Tommy Fleetwood.

Tommy Fleetwood Top 20 (+150)

Tommy Fleetwood is one of the most interesting players in golf. He has been great in Ryder Cup victories, won seven European Tour events and has been one of the most competitive players on the PGA TOUR over the past seven years. However, he has yet to win a PGA TOUR event, let alone a major. It is difficult to bet on Fleetwood to win a tournament until he proves that he can do it, but betting on him to be competitive at the PGA Championship this week is a strong play. Fleetwood has competed well in majors over the past couple of seasons, finishing T-26 or better in 10 of his past 13 major appearances. Five of those 10 top-26 finishes have seen Fleetwood finish inside the top-10, so despite not finding a win, Fleetwood is almost always right in the mix at the top of the leaderboard in major weeks.

Fleetwood is in great form heading into this week as well. He has finished inside the top-25 in eight of his nine starts this season, including finishing seventh at the RBC Heritage and T-4 at the Truist Championship in his past two starts. He has competed well against top fields all season and should be ready to go at Quail Hollow. In his past three tournaments played at Quail Hollow, Fleetwood has finished 13th, fifth and 14th. He has great recent history at the course and his form this season is fantastic. All of these factors should add up to another top-20 major finish for Tommy Fleetwood, making the +150 odds on this bet a great play for the PGA Championship.
