It’s fair to say that the 2024 season was a disaster for the Tennessee Titans. Will Levis, drafted to be the starter of the future in 2023, was poor in his second season, and former star running back Derrick Henry produced a historically great season with the Baltimore Ravens after the team opted not to re-sign him last offseason. The only silver lining is that Tennessee was rewarded with the first overall pick for the first time 1978.
The Titans hope that the man they drafted with that pick, former University of Miami quarterback Cam Ward, can lead the franchise to better days ahead. Over a five-year collegiate career, Ward set the NCAA record for the most career passing touchdowns, slinging 158. He’ll pair with running backs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, as well as wideouts Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett, for what Tennessee hopes will be an improved offense in 2025.
