The Bengals had a disappointing 2024-25 season, failing to live up to expectations. They had the best passing offense in the NFL, Joe Burrow had an MVP-level season and Ja’Marr Chase made history with his receiving triple crown season. However, they missed out on the postseason after losing some games in brutal fashion and having a poor defense. They made major investments to keep that incredible offense together by extending Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Mike Gesicki. They also tried to bolster the defense through the draft, but only time will tell if they did enough to improve on that side of the ball. They need to make another run at a Super Bowl soon if they want to capitalize on the Joe Burrow era.
