NHL Picks: Free +700 Same Game Parlay Bet for Stars vs. Jets Game 4

There is only one game on tonight’s NHL Playoff slate, and it’s Game 4 between the Stars and Jets. Dallas leads the series 2-1 and is a -155 Moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s action. The game total is set at O/U 5.5 goals.

I’ve crafted a four-leg NHL Same Game Parlay (SGP) for tonight’s matchup featuring prop bets for Kyle Connor, Mikko Rantanen, Wyatt Johnston and Josh Morrissey. I’ve also provided my reasoning for each pick. Let’s get into it.

Same Game Parlay (SGP) for Stars vs. Jets Game 4

Analysis

Kyle Connor 3+ Shots on Goal

Connor has cleared this line in four of the past five games and 2-of-3 games this series. He leads all Jets’ forwards in ice time, ranks second in shots on goal per game and just totaled seven shots in Game 3. Connor has recorded 34 shots this postseason with his next closest teammate coming in at 22––he is the main offensive contributor.

Josh Morrissey 1+ Point

This is the only plus-odd leg of the parlay, coming in at +110 odds. While it’s the riskiest leg, I tend to feel better about point props over shots on goal props. Morrissey missed Game 1 but has led the team in ice time in back-to-back games. In those two games, he has also recorded a point, once at even strength and once on the man advantage. He is Winnipeg’s most underrated player and has numerous ways to secure a point by being on the ice all the time, especially on the power play.

Wyatt Johnston 1+ Point

While Johnston was unable to record a point in either of the first two games, he tallied one in Game 3 by capping off the Stars’ third-period scoring explosion in the 5-2 win. So, he has struggled on the road this postseason––oh well. Good thing the game is in Dallas again tonight and Johnston has recorded a point in every home game this postseason.

Mikko Rantanen 3+ Shots on Goal

The leading point-getter and goalscorer this postseason caps off the SGP. Aside from Game 3 where he only recorded two shots on goal, Rantanen has been consistent at home, clearing this line in each of the other four games. The so-called Nathan MacKinnon merchant ranks second on Dallas in ice time among forwards, first in shots per game and third in high-danger chances. He has also netted five goals in the last home games this postseason, including Game 3. He wants to keep up his strong play and it turns out that the easiest way to score goals is to shoot the puck.
