Chet Holmgren U 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-154)
Holmgren has gone cold from deep recently. In his last five starts, Holmgren has only hit 3-of-19 three-pointers (16%) and he is only averaging 0.6 made three-pointers per game. Holmgren has only hit more than one three-pointer in one of these last five games and for the season, he is only averaging 1.5 made three-pointers per game.
Holmgren’s usage has been under 20% in three of his last five starts and he is a great bet to fall short of 1.5 made three-pointers in Game 5.
Aaron Gordon O 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Gordon is having a superb postseason. While ranking third for the Nuggets with 38.4 minutes per game, the forward is averaging 18.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game during these playoffs, and he has exceeded 26.5 PRA in six of his 11 starts. Gordon is nearly shooting 50% from the field and he is handling an 18.6% usage rate. Furthermore, Gordon has been active on the glass, with 12.5 rebounding chances per game.
Gordon has been very clutch for Denver this postseason and his heroics should continue in this pivotal Game 5 with over 26.5 PRA.
Jalen Williams U 21.5 Points (-125)
Williams has had a difficult time against the Nuggets this season, averaging 18.8 PPG (six games), which is well under his 21.5 PPG average for the season. The 24-year-old has stayed under 21.5 points in four of his six matchups with the Nuggets and he has especially had trouble when defended by Gordon in this second-round series. Williams has been defended by Gordon for 17.5 minutes and has shot a poor 4-of-13 from the field in this individual matchup.
Williams’ usage has been 2.0 percentage points lower in the postseason compared to the regular season and 21.5 points is just too high of a line for the wing in this tough spot vs. the Nuggets.
