The series will return to Oklahoma City for tonight’s Game 5 matchup between the Nuggets and Thunder. Denver is a +360 road underdog on the Moneyline and the game total is set at O/U 220.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
The battle of the MVPs––Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander––has been underwhelming, which shifts my focus to Aaron Gordon, who has averaged 17.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while shooting 45% from the field and 55% from three-point range across four games this series.
Below, I have featured my favorite prop bet for Gordon to consider for tonight’s Game 5 matchup between the Nuggets and Thunder.
Best Aaron Gordon Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Aaron Gordon Over 10.5 Rebounds + Assists (+105)
The 29-year-old has been a key contributor in this series and I expect it to continue again tonight in Game 5. Aside from the scoring boost he has provided Denver, Gordon has been stuffing the rebounds and assists categories. He’s cleared this line rather easily in 3-of-4 games this series and has doubled his assists line in back-to-back games with five in Game 3 and six in Game 4.
Chet Holmgren has been feasting on the boards for Oklahoma City with at least 11 in three straight games but so has Gordon, who has recorded at least eight rebounds in three games this series and is coming off of a 16-rebound night in Game 4. This series has been the definition of a back-and-forth affair but Gordon’s play has remained consistent. So far this postseason, the Thunder have allowed the fourth-most rebounds to forwards. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him clear this line alone with rebounds but his recent playmaking suggests this is a steal at plus-odds.
If you’re backing this, there’s no reason you shouldn’t also throw some cash on his Points + Rebounds + Assists line set at O/U 25.5 and currently sitting at -125 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. Gordon has cleared this line just as easily, having scoring at least 15 points in three games this series.
