Stud
Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers ($8,400): Haliburton has been awful the past two games, shooting 3-of-8 and 2-of-8 from the field, finishing with 24.25 and 12 FPTS. Both of those games were 20+ spreads, so he only played 26 and 30 minutes. I’m expecting this game to be very competitive, as Cleveland’s season is on the line. Haliburton has 50-FPTS upside, something he accomplished in Game 1 of this series. Due to recency bias, I think the ownership will be somewhat muted as well.
Other Options: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($10,000), Jamal Murray ($7,400), Darius Garland ($6,600)
Value
Bennedict Mathurin, Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers ($4,400): Mathurin only played one minute last game due to getting ejected after hitting De’Andre Hunter in the stomach. In the first three games of the series, he received 27, 20 and 23 minutes, finishing with over 20 FPTS in all of those contests. He doesn’t contribute much in the periphery categories, as he’s the microwave scorer off the bench, but he always seems to cook.
Other Options: Andrew Nembhard ($5,800), Max Strus ($5,400), Christian Braun ($5,200), Aaron Nesmith ($5,100), Cason Wallace ($3,200)
Forward
Stud
Aaron Gordon, Denver Nuggets at Oklahoma City Thunder ($6,200): The Thunder defense has been focused on Jokic and Murray, doing an excellent job on both. I don’t see them altering that gameplan much, which should continue offering opportunites for Gordon to feast. He’s attempted double-digit shots in every game and has been doing work on the boards. The six and five dimes over the last two games are very encouraging. In Game 2, he only put up 20.25 FPTS, but that’s because he only played 27 minutes in the 43-point drubbing. In the other three games, Gordon has put up at least 43 FPTS in all.
Other Options: Jalen Williams ($7,800), Evan Mobley ($7,500), Chet Holmgren ($7,200), Pascal Siakam ($6,300)
Value
Max Strus, Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers ($5,400): Strus has put up at least 25 FPTS in all four games, with two over 40 FPTS. He’s been chipping in plenty of points, rebounds and assists while sprinking in some defensive stats. His offense will be needed, especially if Mitchell is unable to play.
Other Options: Christian Braun ($5,200), Aaron Nesmith ($5,100), Bennedict Mathurin ($4,400)
Center
Stud
Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers ($6,100): Turner has put up at least 34 FPTS in three of the games in this series, with a high of 47 FPTS. In the last two games, he’s only played 22 and 26 minutes due to blowouts. In the first two games, he received 35 and 33 minutes. I expect this game to be competitive. If so, then Turner should play in the mid-30s. Usually, I’d just autoclick on Jokic, but the Thunder have made life difficult for him, which has lowered the probabilities of a ceiling game, and that ain’t good with the high price tag.
Other Options: Nikola Jokic ($11,400), Evan Mobley ($7,500), Chet Holmgren ($7,200), Jarrett Allen ($6,500), Aaron Gordon ($6,200)
Value
Isaiah Hartenstein, Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets ($5,900): Hartenstein has finished with at least 33 FPTS in each of the last three games. He’s literally stuffed the stat sheet while being a beast on the glass. Most importantly, he’s played 33 and 31 minutes. Barring foul trouble or injury, I’m expecting a similar workload and production.
