Russell Westbrook O 10.5 Points (-130)
Westbrook has been excellent as the Nuggets’ sixth man this postseason, averaging 14.2 PPG while shooting 44% from the field. Role-wise, the former MVP is logging 25.3 minutes per game and his usage has been at a strong 23.8%, which ranks second for Denver, only trailing Nikola Jokic. Westbrook has surpassed 10.5 points in eight of 10 games so far during the playoffs and he has thrived against the Thunder’s stout defense this season, scoring 14.3 PPG in seven matchups.
Westbrook has scored 16+ points in four of those seven meetings and Sunday’s Game 4 being in Denver is great news for the high-energy guard. Westbrook is averaging 14.8 PPG at home this season, which is 2.8 PPG higher than his average on the road, and he is a terrific bet for over 10.5 points Sunday.
Jalen Williams U 22.5 Points (-115)
While Williams is coming off a 32-point effort in Game 3, he has fallen short of 22.5 points in five of his eight matchups with the Nuggets this season. Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun both being strong wing defenders makes this a tough spot for Williams, and the forward has struggled mightily with his outside shot this postseason, shooting 27.5% on three-pointers.
Furthermore, Williams’ usage has been at 25.2% during the playoffs, which is a downgrade from the 27% he handled during the regular season. This 22.5-point line is slightly too high for Williams in Denver on Sunday and backing him for under this number is the right move.
Alex Caruso O 2.5 Assists (-110)
On top of his great defense, Caruso has been a solid playmaker for the Thunder this postseason, averaging 3.3 assists per game. The veteran is averaging 4.9 potential assists per game and he is handling a 21% assist percentage, which ranks third for Oklahoma City in the playoffs.
Caruso ranks fifth on the Thunder in plus/minus this postseason and with the club looking to even this series with Denver at two wins apiece in Game 4, Caruso should approach 25 minutes off the bench Sunday, giving him a great chance to exceed 2.5 assists.
