How the public is betting Pacers vs. Cavaliers Game 4 on Sunday 5/11/25

The Pacers are hosting the Cavaliers for Game 4 of their second round series Sunday in Indiana.

Let’s explore how the public is betting Game 4 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Betting Splits

The Cavaliers defeated the Pacers by 22 points in Game 3 and following that convincing win, most bettors are expecting Cleveland to take care of business again in Game 4, with 79% of the handle and 69% of the bets on the moneyline backing the Cavaliers. This is very logical with Cleveland at full strength, with Darius Garland (toe) and Evan Mobley (ankle) both off the injury report for Game 4. When the Cavaliers’ big three of Donovan Mitchell, Garland and Mobley have been active this season, Cleveland owns an impressive 48-12 record.

It’s the same story when it comes to spread bets, with 83% of the handle and 64% of the bets backing the Cavaliers -5.5. This season, Cleveland is 52-36-1 ATS overall and 41-26-1 ATS after a win, so tailing the public here and backing the Cavaliers -5.5 is the right move.

As for the total, 57% of the handle and 55% of the bets are for over 231 points, which is a result of the three games of this series producing 234 PPG. Two of these three games have gone over 231 points and 62.9% of the Cavaliers’ games have gone over this season, which is a league-high. While 231 points is high for a playoff game, backing the over is smart for Game 4.

Here are the top-five most-bet player props for tonight’s game:

  1. Tyrese Haliburton Under 9.5 Assists (-125)
  2. Evan Mobley 1st Point Scorer (+500)
  3. Evan Mobley Over 17.5 Points (-120)
  4. Donovan Mitchell 1st Point Scorer (+425)
  5. Donovan Mitchell 30+ Points (-180)

Haliburton for under 9.5 assists is the most-bet player prop for Game 4 and is absolutely a strong wager to consider at this -125 price. The Cavaliers have held the guard to just four and five assists in the last two games of this series, and Haliburton has recorded five assists or less in four of his six matchups with Cleveland this season. The Pacers are a 5.5-point underdog for Game 4 and in losses this season, Haliburton has been less effective as a playmaker, averaging 8.3 assists per game.

The second-most bet player prop for Game 4 is Mobley to be the first-point scorer at +500, which is the best option in the market for this contest. The big man has been the first scorer 14 times this season, meaning Mobley has scored the first basket in 18% of his starts this season. Mobley’s 14 first baskets this season is notably the most of all the players in this matchup between the Cavaliers and Pacers by a significant four field goals.

The third-most bet player prop also belongs to Mobley, with the forward going for over 17.5 points at -120. Mobley is averaging 19 PPG against the Pacers in four matchups this season and he has topped 17.5 points in three of these four games. Indiana is giving up the fourth-most points in the paint and the seventh-most points to power forwards this season, and attacking Mobley for over 17.5 points in this appealing spot has a ton of merit.

The fourth and fifth-most bet player props for Game 4 belong to Mitchell. First is the shooting guard to be the first-point scorer, which does have logic, but isn’t as strong of a first basket wager as Mobley. Mitchell has been the first-point scorer nine times this season and he is reaching this feat in 11% of his starts.

Next is Mitchell for 30+ points at a heavily favored -180 price. While these odds aren’t appealing, this is a safe bet with the Cavaliers looking to avoid a 1-3 deficit in this best-of-seven. The Pacers simply have had no answer for Mitchell this season, with the All-Star averaging 35.6 PPG against the division rival in five matchups. Mitchell is leading the Cavaliers with a 34.3% usage rate this postseason and in this must-win, he should approach 40 minutes, putting Mitchell in prime position to score 30+ points.
