We are only a day removed from the Champions League semi-finals coming to a conclusion, but it’s never too early to take a look at the odds for this year’s final on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game will be played on Saturday, May 31st, in Munich.

When going through the stats of both teams in this competition thus far, there is only one winner. Not only do the stats tell a story, but Paris Saint-Germain also pass the eye test. They have defeated three English clubs in a row. First, it was Liverpool in the Round of 16, then Aston Villa in the quarter-finals before advancing past Arsenal in the semi-final.
Now they face a resilient Inter Milan team that just triumphed over Barcelona in an epic semi-final clash.
Keep in mind that when comparing these two teams and their stats that PSG has played two extra games in this year’s competition as a result of a poor league campaign that forced them into a qualifying round to advance to the last 16. This is a matchup of an offensive team vs. a defensive team, or at least that’s what it seems like.
PSG has been better defensively than given credit for, conceding 15 goals in 16 games. Inter Milan has been slightly better, giving up 11 goals in 14 games. Inter Milan is supposed to be solid defensively, and they were until the semi-final when Barcelona scored 6 goals over the two games.
The real difference between these two sides is the attacking prowess. PSG has arguably the best attack in the world at the moment, with so many options up top. Ousmane Dembélé is having the best season of his life and could be in the Ballon d’Or conversation. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a revelation since signing in January from Napoli, while 19-year-old wonderkid Désiré Doué has burst onto the scene. PSG have scored 33 goals in this year’s competition with only one penalty goal, compared to Inter’s 26 with five penalties. They lead the UCL in total attempts and shots on target. In fact, the French team has almost 2x the amount of shots on target that Inter has in this year’s competition.
I could go on and on about PSG’s dominance in this competition, especially since the knockout stages began. But let’s keep this simple. I like them to win this game inside of the 90 minutes, which means I will be taking PSG moneyline at +120 odds.
