Fantasy Basketball Value Picks: Top DraftKings NBA Playoffs DFS Bargain Plays for Warriors vs. Timberwolves Game 2

Game 2 between the Warriors and Timberwolves is the only game on tap tonight across the NBA. In Game 1, Golden State put together a commanding 99-88 victory. However, guard Stephen Curry will miss at least a week due to a hamstring injury. In the NBA playoffs, it’s the lesser-known names that often prove to be the difference between victory and defeat. If either squad is going to pull out a win, they’ll need more than just superstars.

Ahead of tonight’s action, here are two players being slept on in fantasy basketball DFS contests.

PG/SG Donte DiVincenzo, Minnesota Timberwolves ($9,300)

On a Timberwolves team stocked with quality bench pieces, Donte DiVincenzo should be playing a major role. Unfortunately for Minnesota, the guard has gone ice-cold this postseason. Through six playoff games, DDV has recorded 7.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 29.5% from the field. The normally reliable sharpshooter has only knocked down 18.4% of his three-point attempts during that time.

At this point, few players need a bounce-back performance more than DiVincenzo. It’s not as if the 28-year-old is a scrub; we saw him light up Madison Square Garden last year with the Knicks. In addition, head coach Chris Finch has played the veteran an average of 26.4 minutes per game in the playoffs. Despite his atrocious shooting, DiVincenzo has produced at least 24.0 fantasy points in four of his six postseason games. A talented, but struggling, player with a sizable role? This is the kind of fantasy basketball buy-low to target.

SG/SF Moses Moody, Golden State Warriors ($3,600)

Without Stephen Curry, it’s anyone’s guess as to what head coach Steve Kerr will do with his substitutions. The Warriors aren’t afraid to utilize their bench, but the Timberwolves arguably have even more depth. Other than Jimmy Butler and Buddy Hield, most of Golden State’s roster is made up of defensive-first players. If the Dubs are looking for a scoring punch tonight, perhaps Moses Moody will get more involved. The former first-round pick has had a bizarre season, going from frequent starter to out of the rotation. In the playoffs, the guard has had three different games with less than 12 minutes played.

While Moody’s playing time is inconsistent, he has shown an ability to step up when needed. The 22-year-old posted 25 points and nine rebounds in Game 6 vs. the Rockets (46.75 FPTS). This postseason, he’s enjoyed three different outings of more than 20.0 fantasy points. Given Moody’s dirt-cheap price, there’s not much downside to slotting him in your lineups. Golden State’s talented wing is a dart throw that could pay major dividends tonight.
