The expected pitching matchup for Tuesday night was Chase Dollander versus Jackson Jobe in a battle of hard-throwing rookies. Dollander has struggled in his five outings in 2025, pitching to a robust 6.48 ERA and 6.05 xERA in 25.0 innings. That includes surrendering six home runs in his 14.2 innings specifically in Colorado.
