Guardians at Nationals game postponed Monday 5/5/25

Due to inclement weather, Monday’s game between Cleveland and Washington has been postponed. The game was originally delayed before an announcement at 4:37 p.m. ET that it had been postponed.

There will be a double-header on Tuesday to make up today’s game.

Game 1 will start at 3:35 p.m. ET, with Game 2 starting roughly 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.

Luis L. Ortiz was the probable starter for Cleveland on Monday, while it was supposed to be Jake Irvin behind the mound for Washington.

Odds for Game 1 of the doubleheader are available on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Guardians narrow -120 favorites and the run total set at 9. Ben Lively is the probable pitcher for Cleveland, and it’s Brad Lord for Washington.
