On Sunday afternoon in the rubber game of the three-game series, the Guardians removed starting pitcher Tanner Bibee before the sixth inning of their game against the Blue Jays. Bibee came out to warm up for the sixth inning but had to call for a trainer and leave the game.

Before departing, Bibee worked five innings with three strikeouts, allowing two runs on five hits for a total of 8.45 fantasy points. Since his team ahead when he departed, he still has a chance to get the win bonus if they hold on for the victory.
Bibee has dealt with cramps before, and the hope for Bibee, the Guardians and his fantasy managers is that his early exit was for precautionary reasons and he won’t miss a start. The team should issue an update on his status shortly. As of now, he’s scheduled to take the mound next on Saturday at home against the Phillies.
