UPDATE: Imanaga has been added to the 15-day IL with a hamstring strain.

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Shota Imanga had to leave Sunday afternoon’s matchup with the Brewers after suffering an injury while covering first base in the sixth inning.

Before departing, Imanaga pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk to earn 13.75 fantasy points.

The team announced he was removed due to a left hamstring strain, but at this point, there is no word on the severity of the strain or if he will need a stint on the injured list. If Imanaga misses time, one intriguing option to replace him is top prospect, former first-round pick Cade Horton, who started at Triple-A on Sunday. In his six Triple-A starts, Horton has a 1.44 ERA.

Is that Cade Horton’s entrance music?

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
