All 30 MLB teams are in action on Saturday with games spread throughout the day. It’s a great day to fill in with multiple fantasy baseball contests and a full betting card on DraftKings sportsbook. Taking a look at some of the later options, here are my favorite starting pitcher prop bets for Saturday featuring plays from Kris Bubic, Patrick Corbin, and Jack Flaherty.

Here is a look at my top starting pitcher prop bets for this Saturday night.
Best Starting Pitcher Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kris Bubic 6+ strikeouts (+130)
Bubic is -150 to have over 4.5 strikeouts if you want a safer play, but I’m ok including this alternate total in my starting pitcher prop bets since he should be able to put together a strong outing in Baltimore.
Bubic has 37 strikeouts in his six starts, averaging 6.2 strikeouts per start and 9.3 K/9. He only had four strikeouts in his last start against Houston, but he had gone over this number in four of his first five starts prior to that outing.
The Orioles have the third-highest K% in Major League Baseball over the last two weeks and the third-highest K% on the season against lefties like Bubic. He had six strikeouts in New York against the Yankees and eight in Milwaukee against the Brewers, so he can step up on the road with big strikeout performances.
Patrick Corbin under 15.5 outs recorded (-115)
Corbin has been marginally better this year with the Rangers after losing at least 13 games and posting an ERA over 5.00 in each of the last four seasons in Washington. He has gone 2-1 with a 3.79 ERA in his four starts for the Rangers, but he still has a 4.63 xERA and a 1.58 WHIP.
In addition to running in the red-hot Mariners, who I covered in my MLB stacks, Corbin going five innings or less makes sense as one of my top starting pitcher prop bets because even while he has been better, he hasn’t been going deep into games.
Corbin has come in under this 15.5 line in three of his four starts this season and has yet to reach 100 pitches in any game. He needed a season-high 93 pitches to get through 4 2/3 innings against the Athletics in his last outing, and the only time he went over this line was against the Angels, who we’ll talk about more in the prop below.
Since the Mariners are so locked in, they’ll likely chase Corbin before he goes 5 1/3 innings, making under a strong play in Saturday’s starting pitcher prop bets.
Jack Flaherty To Record A Win (+125)
The last of my three starting pitcher prop bets is Flaherty to get a road win over the Angels. Flaherty to get over 6.5 strikeouts (-150) and to record 17.5 outs (-120) are also strong plays, but I’ll back him and the Tigers to take a third straight game from the Angels in Anaheim to get plus-money on a Flaherty prop.
Flaherty was my top starting pitcher option in my MLB Targets, partly because of how favorable this matchup is against the Angels. The offense was already struggling before losing Mike Trout (knee) and has only managed to average 2.5 runs per game over the last two weeks, the lowest total in the majors. Over the 12 games they have played over those two weeks, the team is hitting only .188 with an ugly 60 wRC+.
Flaherty is only 1-3 in his six starts (which is why this is at plus money), but he has allowed three runs or fewer in five of his six starts and reached at least five innings pitched (the minimum to qualify for a win) in five of those six starts as well.
Since he has a good head-to-head matchup against Kyle Hendricks, he should get enough run support to get a win if the Tigers’ lineup continues to produce. I’m confident enough in Flaherty, the team’s offense, and the team’s bullpen to back the starting pitcher to get the win on Saturday night. Multiple things always have to go right for a starting pitcher to get a win, but they’re lined up to do just that for Flaherty.
