2025 NFL Best Ball WR Sleepers
All of these wide receivers are currently outside the top 15 highest-ranked WRs by ADP on DraftKings’ $15M Millionaire Best Ball contest.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals (ADP: 33.4)
Marvin Harrison Jr. received some criticism during his rookie year, but it was actually a solid first season in Arizona. Harrison finished the year with 885 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. For most rookies, that would be considered a great first season. Unfortunately, Harrison had such high expectations coming out of college that he was considered a bit of a disappointment, especially because of how many standout rookie pass catchers there were across the league last season. Brock Bowers, Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr. and Ladd McConkey all had over 1,000 receiving yards last season and multiple players from that group broke franchise and league rookie records. As Harrison was drafted first from that group, people were disappointed with him not quite reaching the same level as those other players. Harrison should only get better and build on last season, making him worth an early-round pick in Best Ball drafts.
Mike Evans, Bucs (ADP: 37.4)
Mike Evans has been a machine throughout his NFL career. Last season, Evans made it 11 straight years with at least 1,000 receiving yards. Evans has never dipped in form throughout his 11-year NFL career, making him as safe of a pick as you can make for a Best Ball draft. He is aging every year, but it has not reflected in his quality of play. He is still the go-to receiver for Baker Mayfield and should be again next season. The Buccaneers have a good stable of pass-catchers, but that should only help Evans. Despite his dominance, teams can’t afford to double-team him with Chris Godwin and rookie Emeka Egbuka also on the field. Evans should have another fantastic season in Tampa Bay, and until he dips in form, he is going to be one of the safest picks that you can make.
Zay Flowers, Ravens (ADP: 51.2)
Zay Flowers is currently not a top-50 pick by ADP. That is a certain level of disrespect for the go-to receiver of Lamar Jackson. Flowers had over 1,000 receiving yards last season as a follow-up to his great rookie year. The Ravens only added a sixth-round pick and an aging DeAndre Hopkins at wide receiver this offseason. That means that Flowers should still get a heavy target share and have another big season in Baltimore. Flowers is a consistent outlet for Lamar Jackson and can always turn a standard play into a big gain. He only scored four touchdowns last season despite catching 74 balls. With the level of production he has on a weekly basis, that is a low touchdown number. Purely from a variance perspective, Flowers should find the end zone a couple more times than he did last season in 2025.
Deebo Samuel Sr., Commanders (ADP: 64.9)
Deebo Samuel was once one of the highest-valued fantasy players in the NFL. However, injury issues have hit Samuel hard over the past few seasons, making him a player that people no longer trust from a fantasy perspective. Samuel made a big move this offseason, leaving the 49ers to head to the Commanders. This change of scenery could be exactly what Samuel needs at this point in his career. Jayden Daniels had an unbelievable rookie year in San Francisco, and the Commanders now have one of the most exciting offenses in football. Terry McLaurin will be the primary down-to-down receiver for Daniels, but that allows Samuel to be used in unique ways. Kliff Kingsbury will be able to get creative with Samuel’s usage, just like Kyle Shanahan did in San Francisco. If he can stay healthy, Samuel could have a huge season in this dynamic offense. There is some risk involved with this pick due to the injury potential, but this change of scenery could bring Samuel back among the best receivers in football.
Matthew Golden, Packers (ADP: 82.4)
Matthew Golden is one of the most exciting rookie receivers from the 2025 draft class. He was a first-round pick by the Packers, showing their dedication to improving that receiver room for Jordan Love. Love is still one of the best young quarterbacks in the league, but he needs more consistency from his wideouts. The Packers have a few young receivers with talent, but between health and consistency on the field, none of them have emerged as a true top wide receiver for Love. Matthew Golden could step right into that spot and be the go-to guy for Love from the jump. Last season, four rookie pass catchers had over 1,000 receiving yards. Golden could be one of the standout rookies this year, especially with a great quarterback and offensive head coach to make his life easy.
