The NBA playoffs continue on Friday, May 2, with a crucial Game 6 matchup. Here are the top betting picks on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here is the full NBA Schedule for Friday, May 2 (all times Eastern):

  • Rockets at Warriors, 9:00 p.m.

Rockets +5 (-108)

The Houston Rockets extended their series with a 131-116 win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 5, narrowing the Warriors’ lead to 3-2. After taking an 18-point lead early, Houston withstood a fourth-quarter rally from Golden State’s reserves, who had been substituted in after coach Steve Kerr decided to rest his starters. Kerr’s decision to focus on Game 6, instead of pushing for a comeback, played a role in the Warriors’ loss.

Houston’s youthful athleticism and defensive pressure were key factors in their success. Despite Golden State’s playoff experience, the Rockets have shown resilience throughout the series and are poised to cover the +5 spread in Game 6. Expect another close contest as Houston looks to force a Game 7.

Amen Thompson Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-105)

Amen Thompson has contributed significantly to the Rockets in both scoring and rebounding. He finished Game 5 with 25 points, six rebounds, five steals, and three blocks. His all-around impact doing the dirty work and making plays has been crucial, and as his role continues to expand in the series, Thompson is likely to surpass the 20.5 combined points and rebounds line again in Game 6.

Stephen Curry Over 31.5 Points + Assists (-110)

Stephen Curry had a quiet Game 5, posting only 13 points and seven assists as Golden State rested its starters. In Game 6, with higher stakes, Curry is expected to take on a larger role in the offense. After a strong 36-point, nine-assist performance in Game 3, Curry seems overdue for a big performance, which could position him to exceed the 31.5 combined points and assists line. Look for Curry to bounce back in this crucial Game 6.

Alperen Sengun Over 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)

Alperen Sengun has consistently contributed to the Rockets throughout the series, averaging 20.8 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. In Game 5, Sengun posted 15 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. With another night of being a focal point in Game 6, he’s well-positioned to exceed the 36.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists line. His ability to impact the game in multiple ways makes this a strong bet for the Rockets in Game 6.
