It’s officially the best time of the year, as NFL Best Ball is back on DraftKings.
This format gives players a chance to draft a fantasy football team for a season-long competition that requires no active in-season management, but still provides a full season of drama and competition.

Below I have ranked my top-30 quarterbacks for the 2025 DraftKings NFL Best Ball season.

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
I don’t think you need me to go into detail on Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen, so we will start here with Joe Burrow. Maybe the best pure passer in the NFL, the Bengals’ signal caller threw for 4,918 yards and a whopping 43 touchdowns in 2024.
He’s so valuable on DraftKings due to the 300-yard passing bonus, which he eclipsed seven times last year. With Cincy locking up both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins this offseason, Burrow’s 2025 fantasy outlook is incredibly strong, and I have him as my QB3 after Allen and Jackson.
7. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
Murray was a bit inconsistent last season, but still flashed an incredibly high ceiling. The former No. 1 overall pick posted 21+ FPTS in eight of his 18 starts, including three straight times to end the season. With Trey McBride getting a new contract extension and Marvin Harrison Jr. entering year two in the NFL, the floor is very high for Murray in 2025.
Right now Murray is being drafted as the QB10 on DraftKings, while boasting an ADP of 90.2. Murray is one of the few true rushing quarterbacks in the league, and if this offense clicks he could vault into a top-five fantasy starter.
13. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
This one is pretty simple. A former No. 1 overall pick and one of the best quarterback prospects of the past decade is now saddled with an offensive guru head coach and one of the best receiving corps in the NFL. Liam Coen resurrected the career of Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay, and everything is shaping up for him to do the same here with Lawrence in his first season at the helm in Jacksonville.
The Jaguars made a huge splash on draft night, trading up with the Browns for the second-overall pick to select Colorado wide receiver Travis Hunter, who by all accounts is a unicorn and arguably the best overall prospect in this year’s draft. Hunter will play opposite Brian Thomas Jr., who exploded onto the scene in his rookie season, posting 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns.
It is put up or shut up time for Lawrence, who was extremely disappointing last season. However, the talent is still there and with a new look coaching staff and offense surrounding him, there’s no reason why he can’t be a QB1 in 2025. His ADP of 127.7 will surely rise as we approach training camp, so you’ll want to get your shares early.
19. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
The Patriots did all they could to make life easier for their franchise quarterback in 2025. First and foremost they got rid of Jerod Mayo and brought in Mike Vrabel to be the team’s new head coach. They then signed Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $63 million contract to be the team’s new WR1. Though he is coming off a torn ACL, Diggs will bring stability to a pass catching group that was led by tight end Hunter Henry with 674 yards last year.
It did not end there, however, as New England absolutely crushed its draft, first by selecting LSU OT Will Campbell with the fourth overall pick to improve what was am abhorrent offensive line in 2024. It then spent the next two picks on new weapons for Drake Maye, selecting Ohio State running back Treyveon Henderson in the second round, before taking Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams in the third.
This Patriots offense looks to be improved by leaps and bounds, setting up Maye for a potential breakout in his sophomore campaign. Despite playing with one of the worst supporting casts in football last year, Maye still flashed his elite rushing ability, posting 24 or more rush yards in nine of the 11 games he finished. He will surely throw more than 15 touchdowns in year two, as well.
The fact you can get a potential dual-threat monster in round 11 right now has me buying like crazy.
