The Rockets extended the series to Game 6 after a dominant Game 5 performance from their role players. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun didn’t need to score a bunch thanks to Fred VanVleet, Amen Thompson and Dillon Brooks each scoring more than 20 points.
Between this and excellent team defense, the Warriors didn’t stand a chance. That said, Golden State still holds the advantage as it heads home for Game 6 with a 3-2 series lead.
The Warriors are 5.5-point favorites at home, and the game total is set at 208 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Below, I have featured my favorite Green prop bets to consider from this contest.
Best Jalen Green Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Jalen Green Under 15.5 Points (-125)
Green led the Rockets with an average of 21 points per game in the regular season. While his efficiency needed some work, it was impressive to see the former No. 2 pick be the top scorer for a 52-win team and the No. 2 seed.
With that in mind, it may seem ridiculous that his line is set at just 15.5 points for Game 6. Once you see his scoring outputs in this series, there will be a mutual understanding. Green has scored seven, 38, nine, eight and 11 points in the first five games of the Warriors vs. Rockets series. It’s a miserable showing aside from his 38-point performance.
While the Rockets didn’t need Green’s scoring in Game 5, it cost them in Games 1, 3 and 4. His lack of production has led to his line dropping to 15.5 for Game 6. While some may see this as an opportunity to take Green’s over at a discounted price, I’m still taking the under.
Outside of the Game 2 explosion, he hasn’t scored more than 11 points in a playoff game. Of course there’s a chance he has a solid Game 6 outing, but his performances have been lackluster and I don’t expect that to change tonight.
