NBA Playoff Best Bets: Nuggets vs. Clippers Best Prop Bets for Game 6

Published:

By: Brendan O'Sullivan

The Nuggets won a pivotal Game 5 at home thanks to a Jamal Murray playoff masterclass. The veteran guard poured in 43 points, his highest postseason point total outside of the bubble.

Denver now holds a 3-2 lead heading into Game 6 at the Intuit Dome. It’s a must-win for the Clippers to force a Game 7 in Denver.

The Clippers are 6.5-point favorites at home, and the game total is set at 211.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are the top bets for Game 6 between the Nuggets and Clippers.

Best Nuggets vs. Clippers Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Nikola Jokic Over 1.5 Three-pointers (-130)

Why not go back to the well for a Nikola Jokic three-pointers prop? This has been my favorite player prop of the 2024-25 season, so let’s continue to ride it while the odds are favorable.

Jokic had his best three-point shooting season of his career, finishing with a 41.7 percent rate. He’s much more comfortable letting it fly and his career-high 4.7 attempts per game proves this.

He’s continued his prolific shooting against the Clippers in this series. He’s 11-for-25 overall (44 percent) with three games over 1.5 made three-pointers. Two of the three games are at the Inuit Dome, so it’s clear Jokic is comfortable on the road as well.

With odds of -130 for over 1.5 made three-pointers, it’s a no-brainer to back Jokic again.

Jamal Murray Over 5.5 Assists (-115)

Murray was red hot in Game 5, torching the Clippers for 43 points on 17-of-26 shooting and 8-of-14 from deep. It’s his third highest playoff scoring game and most points in a playoff game outside of the bubble.

Even though he took 26 shots, Murray was still an effective passer. He racked up seven assists to go along with his 43 points. It shows that he’s willing to share the rock even when he’s got the hot hand.

It’s unlikely that Murray gets as hot in Game 6, but that won’t affect his assists total. He’s cleared over 5.5 assists in four of the five playoff games thus far. Whether he scored 43 or 13, he’s still hitting the over.

The ball will be in his hands often, so there will always be a chance he finds an open teammate for a bucket. This isn’t just a postseason trend, although Murray does elevate his game in the playoffs. He’s tallied at least six assists in 41 of 67 games in the regular season.

The circumstances don’t matter because Murray has hit the over in wins and losses, home and road games, and high and low-scoring games. He’s finished with at least six assists in games he scored nine and 45 points.

It’s a sweet deal at -115 odds.

Kawhi Leonard Over 24.5 Points (-105)

The Clippers are facing elimination in Game 6 against the Nuggets, so naturally they should lean on their stars to extend the series.

Kawhi Leonard should take the bulk of the scoring responsibility with his team’s back against the wall. He’s a two-time NBA champion with 144 playoff games under hit belt. He lives for these moments, and he rises to the occasion like some of the greatest players in history.

While he’s only had one game over 24.5 points in this series, that should change in Game 6. Leonard has tallied 22, 39, 21, 24 and 20 points over the first five games, so he’s not far off the line.

Injuries have limited Leonard over the past few years, but he seems fully healthy now. He’s not the same player he was during the 2019 championship run, but he still has some elite performances left in him. Game 6 tonight will be one of them.

Parlaying all three bets yields +475 value
