The Detroit Pistons fought hard in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks but ultimately came up short in the final moments after allowing their opponent to battle back. While a controversial no-call on a last-second shot by Tim Hardaway Jr. took most of the spotlight, Detroit must move on and stave off elimination as they fight against a 3-1 deficit in tonight’s contest.

Can Cade Cunningham power the Pistons and keep his team alive? Here’s the star point guard’s top prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Pistons vs. Knicks Game 5, which tips off at 7:30 p.m. EST this evening.

DraftKings Sportsbook lists Cunningham’s prop lines at 27.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line is currently 43.5.

The Pistons enter this game as 5.5-point underdogs as they try to keep their season alive against an opponent with far more star power in their staring five. Detroit’s Moneyline odds sit at +185 as the underdog, while the game total lies at 214.5 points.

Through the first four games of this series, the Pistons’ superstar averages 25.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 9.0 assists on 44.4% shooting from the field and a paltry 25.0% from three-point range. After the Knicks simply didn’t have an answer for Cunningham during their multiple regular-season meetings, it appears they’ve found the answer to limiting the guard’s efficiency and forcing him into bad turnovers as he averages 6.0 per game across the playoffs so far.

With Cunningham serving as the Pistons’ primary ball-handler (and only real threat in that regard other than Dennis Schroder), his high number of turnovers feels concerning. The Knicks have sent plenty of defensive pressure his way with double teams and blitzes, and while Cunningham’s tried to pass out of them, the result isn’t always favorable for Detroit.

For bettors though, it can be. DraftKings Sportsbook offers an over/under line on Cunningham’s turnovers which is set at 5.5. He’s coughed the ball up at least six times in three of his four playoff contests thus far, and with so much defensive attention sure to head in the All-Star’s direction, the likelihood of him going over this line again remains high. Bettors can grab over 5.5 turnovers for Cunningham at +124 odds.
