The first round of the NBA playoffs continues Monday with a two-game slate and DraftKings continues to offer huge contests for DFS players. Below, I dive into three of my favorite DFS picks to consider for Monday’s NBA playoff two-game slate.

PG, Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets, $9,500
Regardless if Jimmy Butler (questionable, pelvis) suits up or not, Curry is the No.1 play on the slate and a building block for all formats. The sharpshooter torched the Rockets for 65.75 FPTS in Saturday’s Game 3 win for Golden State and the Warriors now have a chance to take a 3-1 series on their home floor tonight in Game 4. In this series with Houston, Curry is producing 51.3 FPTS per game with a team-high 28.2% usage rate while shooting 53% from the field and 45% from beyond the arc.
The Warriors are a four-point favorite for Game 4 on DraftKings Sportsbook and for the five instances Golden State has been a favorite of under five points this season, Curry has been brilliant with 65 FPTS per game.
PG/SG, Davion Mitchell, Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, $5,700
Mitchell’s impressive play as the Heat’s sixth man forced Miami’s coaching staff to move the guard into their starting lineup for their last two games and Mitchell hasn’t disappointed with the starting job. With the first unit, Mitchell is scoring 31.8 FPTS in 36.4 minutes per game, which ranks third for the Heat during this two-game stretch.
Mitchell is an elite defender who is a threat to rack up multiple defensive stats every time he plays and he has been an outstanding playmaker in the playoffs, with a 23.2% assist percentage and 17.7 potential assists per game, which ranks third in the NBA this postseason. While Mitchell’s price tag has increased $500 since his last start, he remains underpriced for his current role at only $5,700 and he is a core play for this two-game slate.
PG/SG, Tyler Herro, Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, $7,700
With the Heat trailing 0-3 and on the brink of elimination, Herro is a strong target. The Cavaliers did limit the guard to only 23.5 FPTS in Saturday’s Game 3, but Herro has still scored at least 42 FPTS in three of his five matchups with Cleveland this season. Furthermore, the Kentucky product has displayed a high ceiling recently with every game crucial for Miami, with the guard scoring at least 49 FPTS in five of his last 10 starts heading into Game 4.
Herro is amassing 1.2 FPTS per minute with a team-high 28.4% usage rate this season and he should log nothing less than 40 minutes tonight with the Heat’s season on the line. Miami is an 8.5-point home underdog for Game 4 on DraftKings Sportsbook and when competing as a home underdog this season, Herro is supplying 41 FPTS per game (12 games). This would be well over five-times value at his $7,700 salary, which is a significant discount from the $9,100 price tag Herro carried to finish the regular season.
