UPDATE: Gilbert left the game due to right forearm tightness.
Logan Gilbert ($10,200) was cruising on Friday against the Miami Marlins, striking out three in three perfect innings. Unfortunately, he left the game in the top of the fourth inning.
No reason has been given as of yet.
MLB.com’s Daniel Kramer noted that Gilbert’s velocity was slightly down, but not by a huge amount.
