At last, the Milwaukee Bucks show some fight. They roared back to life in the second half to pull off an impressive 117-101 victory. Let’s look at some of the player stats from this contest and look ahead to Game 4 on Sunday.
Big Time Performer: Milwaukee Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo
No surprises here. Three playoff games, three 30-point performances. 36, 34, and now 37. Throw in 12 rebounds and six assists, and you have another typical monster Giannis line against the Pacers. Whatever his points/rebounds/assists line is in the next game, I advise you to take the over.
Big Time Performer: Milwaukee Bucks G Gary Trent Jr.
Raise your hand if you saw this one coming. Anybody?
Trent went off from distance in this one, hitting 9-of-12 shots from deep on the way to 37 points, tying for the leading scorer in the game. The 26-year-old had recorded only 18 points across the first two games. His scoring helped make up for Damian Lillard’s lackluster evening and stave off a 3-0 deficit for the Bucks. I wouldn’t expect a repeat performance on Sunday, but perhaps this is the beginning of a hot streak.
Stepping Up: Indiana Pacers F Pascal Siakam
On a night where most Pacers struggled to score, Pascal game through. Consistent as ever, he added 28 points on 12/19 shooting, in addition to five rebounds and a pair of assists. His 20+ points prop is becoming a mortal lock every time he faces this Bucks team, as they have nobody to guard him properly. Look to Siakam for another 20 this Sunday as the Pacers will try to put Milwaukee on the ropes.
