The No. 7 seed, the Golden State Warriors, beat the Houston Rockets, 95-85, in Game 1. The Warriors look to take a 2-0 series lead over the Rockets tonight in Houston at 9:30 p.m. ET. The Warriors have won eight of their last nine games against the Rockets in Houston.
Although Stephen Curry has scored 31-plus points in three straight games, let’s take a look at Golden State’s second-best player, Jimmy Butler. Here is my favorite prop bet for Butler in Game 2 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jimmy Butler over 36.5 PRA (-120)
Butler has continued to grow and build continuity with the Warriors. He is coming off a game against the Rockets, where he totaled 25 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Butler has done a great job of affecting the game in many different areas lately. Butler has recorded more than 36.5 points, rebounds, and assists in three straight games and four of five.
Curry is the Warriors’ best player, but if Golden State wants to fulfill its potential, it will need other players to step up. Even at 36 years old, Butler has proved that Playoff Jimmy is alive and well. Butler missed the postseason last year due to injury but averaged at least 26.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per contest during his previous two complete playoff runs.
You can get Butler’s over in points, rebounds, and assists at -120 on DraftKings Sportsbook. It has taken some time for Butler to find his role on the Warriors, but he has started to see more consistency. Butler has attempted 19 field goals twice and 20 in his last three games. When he is active on offense, it unlocks all parts of his game. Butler is a great scorer but has improved a ton as a rebounder and passer.
