The Jets went all in last season, and things did not go to plan. Aaron Rodgers was a disappointment, the team went 5-12 and the organization cleaned house going into 2025. The Jets will have a new GM, head coach and quarterback this year, and there are a ton of needs on the roster.

New York Jets first round pick prediction
Missouri tackle Armand Membou is the betting favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook to be selected with the seventh overall pick at +150 odds. The Jets are in desperate need of a right tackle, with last year’s first-round pick Olu Fashanu being the only legit tackle option on the roster.
If New York selects Membou as their future right tackle, the Jets would have one of the youngest and most promising tackle tandems in the league.
Next up is Penn State tight end Tyler Warren. Warren is the second favorite to be the Jets’ pick with +370 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. This is my favorite bet for the Jets in this draft, as they are in desperate need of weapons in the passing game. Not only would Warren give Justin Fields another legit option outside of Garrett Wilson, but he could help unlock a poor rushing offense from a year ago. Warren is not afraid to get his hands dirty and is a stellar blocker.
Despite Breece Hall and Braelon Allen on the roster, the Jets were 31st in the NFL in rushing yards per game a year ago. Both of these picks could potentially help the run game, but Warren provides a much-needed second option in the passing game as well. Besides Wilson, the Jets’ options in the pass game include Allen Lazard and Josh Reynolds.
It is also important to note that their best tight end from a season ago, Tyler Conklin, signed with the Chargers in free agency.
I think it’s imperative that the Jets select one of the best pass catchers in the draft in the first round, and they can look to beef up their offensive line in later rounds.
