Monday is a lighter day of MLB action, but there are still plenty of options on the board throughout the evening. The final game of the night is a juicy NL matchup between two teams off to strong starts. The Brewers are 12-10 and one game back of the Cubs in the Central, while the Giants are 14-8 and two games off he pace of the Padres in the West. Their three-game series starts at 9:45 p.m. ET at Oracle Park in San Francisco on the MLB Network. It should be a great way to close out the night, so let’s run down a few of my best bets for Brewers at Giants on 4/21/25.

Robbie Ray under 16.5 outs recorded (-120)
Ray has been off a little bit in his last three starts, issuing 14 walks in this three outings and going just four innings in each of his last two games. He did work around four walks in his last home start and still went six innings, but that was against the Mariners who bailed him out and let him off the hook.
The Brewers’ offense comes in with some good momentum after scoring at least five runs in four of their last five games and plating 14 runs on Sunday in a win over the Athletics. They rank in the top five in runs scored this season and have hit .240 as a team with a .306 wOBA. They also lead the MLB in stolen bases.
If Ray is giving away base-runners on this Monday night, it could be another short outing for him. Even if he does get to five innings (which would be an improvement on his last two starts), he’d still come in under this total, which will hit at 5 1/3 innings or less. There are lots of ways to chase or fade Ray, but this out line is one of my favorite Brewers Giants bets since it still leaves plenty of room for other scenarios that all would end up with success.
William Contreras over 0.5 RBI (+155)
On the other side of that matchup, I’m backing Brewers catcher William Contreras to have at least one RBI against Ray and the Giants. On the season, the 27-year-old righty has hit .230 with 13 RBI in 21 games. He’s only 4-for-28 (.143) against lefties, but that trend is likely a result of small sample size since last year, he hit .313 against lefties with 24 RBI.
He has hit very well in the Brewers’ road games this season, posting a .324 batting average and .428 wOBA on the road. He has at least one RBI in each of the Brewers’ last six road games.
In nine of his last 12 games, Contreras had at least one RBI, including two of his last three. He hits in a prime run-production spot in the heart of the order, and I love getting this prop at plus-money in my Brewers Giants bets for Monday.
Mike Yastrzemski 2+ Total Bases (+120)
Yastrzemski is typically in the leadoff spot against right-handed starting pitchers like Quinn Priester and should be lined up to continue his strong start to the season.
He is hitting .279 in his 19 games this season with three home runs, six doubles and a .403 wOBA. He has a 42.2% hard-hit rate, according to Statcast, and he has been even better against righties with a .348 average and .463 wOBA in the split. At home, he’s hitting .353 with a .538 wOBA, so getting a matchup against righty Quinn Priester at home should set him up for success this Monday night.
In his career, Priester has let lefties hit .317 against him with a .408 wOBA. This year, his splits against left-handed hitters have been better but the sample size has been very small. He should be a good matchup for Yaz, who got Sunday off but went over this amount of total bases in six of his last nine starts.
