In five matchups with Golden State, the shooting guard is only averaging 12.6 PPG and he has only surpassed 20.5 points in one of these five contests. Green is shooting an abysmal 32% from the field against the Warriors and it’s hard to imagine he improves against this club in the postseason.
Golden State is the top rated defense in the league since the All-Star break and the game naturally slows down in pace in the playoffs. On top of the poor matchup, Sunday will be Green’s playoff debut and the 23-year-old dealing with some playoff jitters is very likely, especially with a savvy Warriors team on the other side.
Exceeding 20.5 points is just too tall of an order for Green on Sunday and he is an excellent bet for under this number.
