As the Los Angeles Dodgers welcome their global superstar and major-league phenom Shohei Ohtani back to the lineup today against the Rangers, let’s all take a second to welcome the newest member of the Ohtani family:

Ohtani will resume his duties at the top of baseball’s most-feared lineup. So far this season, he’s picked up right where he left off in 2024 with elite bat-to-ball skills, and prodigious power. He has a .930 OPS on the young season, and has already swiped five bags.
