I will update this live blog throughout Saturday’s WrestleMania 41 card, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on Peacock.
11:01 p.m. ET: Seth Rollins pins Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman’s help
Right away, Rollins and Punk exited the ring, using steel steps, and began brawling throughout the stadium. Reigns showed the same aggression and attitude that he had during his historic title reign. But Rollins and Punk match Reigns’ intensity during the match. This was an incredible match and was a great showing from three of the best wrestlers of this generation.
This match kept everyone on the edge of their seats, with a ton of false finishes. The crowd was great during this match. Paul Heyman’s reactions throughout the action showed that he still has love left for Reigns. Rollins and Reigns teased a Shield reunion, but Reigns powerbombed both of them on the announce table by himself.
Close to 30 minutes into the match, all three guys were laid out. Paul Heyman hit Punk with a low blow and gave his alliance to Reigns. Then, Heyman did the same thing to Reigns and handed Rollins a chair. Rollins hit Reigns with a chair to the back and a stomp to win the match. This match lived up to the hype and more.
10:10 p.m. ET: It is time for the Main Event!
The seventh and final match of Saturday’s WrestleMania 41 card is a triple-threat match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins. Even though this match doesn’t have a championship attached to it, this has been one of the best feuds of the year. All three of these wrestlers have history throughout the past decade, and it all gets settled in the ring tonight. Reigns, Punk, and Rollins are three of the biggest stars in WWE history, and this has the potential to be a legendary match.
9:54 p.m. ET: Stratton beats Flair and retains her title
From the start of this match, you could see the tension was real between Flair and Stratton. Flair showed off her athleticism to start the match, but Stratton matched her. This match had a ton of false finishes and was highly competitive.
Stratton has faced tough opponents in her young career, but hasn’t been tested like she was tonight against Flair. Stratton hit Flair with her signature finisher, “the prettiest moonsault,” to retain her championship. This is the biggest win of Stratton’s career, and this moment should make her an even bigger star.
9:25 p.m. ET: Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair is next
The second-to-last match is for the WWE Women’s Championship. Tiffany Stratton is defending her title against the former champion. The build-up to this match has been heated and personal. Will Tiffy’s reign continue, or can the Queen regain her title?
9:20 p.m. ET: WrestleMania Saturday’s attendance was announced
WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels came out and addressed the crowd in Las Vegas, Nevada. Michaels announced that the attendance for WrestleMania is 61,467.
9:15 p.m. ET: El Grande Americano defeats Rey Fenix
El Grande Americano used a metal plate inside his mask to beat Rey Fenix. Although Americano has claimed he is not Chad Gable, he used a few similar moves throughout this match. Fenix showed his unique style during this match, and even though he lost his first WrestleMania match, the future is still bright for the new WWE star.
9:01 p.m. ET: Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano is the next match
Rey Mysterio was originally slated to face El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41. But at SmackDown, Mysterio was injured, so Rey Fenix is taking his place in this match.
8:53 p.m. ET: Jacob Fatu defeats LA Knight to win the United States Championship
As soon as the bell rang, Knight and Fatu got off to a quick start. Both wrestlers received a nice ovation from the WWE fans in Las Vegas during their entrances. Fatu initiated a ton of offense, and this match was back and forth. During the last few minutes, Fatu took over and displayed his incredible athletic ability en route to his first singles WWE Championship.
Up until this point, this was the best match at WrestleMania 41. Fatu is the latest member of The Bloodline to win gold. His cousin, Jey Uso, won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the first match of the night.
8:33 p.m. ET: LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu is up next
LA Knight defends his United States Championship against Jacob Fatu in the next match. This has the potential to be one of the best matches of the night. Knight and Fatu are two of the most exciting and entertaining superstars in the WWE. Will the Samoan werewolf win his first title, or can the megastar retain?
8:28 p.m. ET: Jade Cargill picks up the victory against Naomi
This match had a slow start, with Naomi getting the better of Cargill. After the first five minutes, Cargill picked up the pace. This was Cargill’s second WrestleMania match and first singles victory at Mania. The athletic ability that Cargill possesses is unreal and among the best in the WWE. After finishing this feud with Naomi, big things should be in the future for Cargill.
8:15 p.m. ET: Jade Cargill vs. Naomi is taking place next
Jade Cargill and Naomi have had an intense feud over the last few months. They will finally face off in a one-on-one match at WrestleMania 41. Who will come out on top?
8:10 p.m. ET: The New Day defeats The War Raiders to win the World Tag Team Championship
The New Day is once again Tag Team Champions! This is the 12th time they have won the WWE Tag Team Championship. A championship has changed hands for the second straight match to open WrestleMania 41. This was an exciting and hard-hitting battle between two great teams.
This is the first time The New Day has won the championship since displaying a new heel persona. The New Day are future WWE Hall of Famers and the most decorated team in WWE history.
7:50 p.m. ET: The War Raiders vs. The New Day is up next
The War Raiders are defending their World Tag Team Championship against The New Day. The New Day are 11-time WWE Tag Team Champions and would break the record if they win tonight.
7:39 p.m. ET: Jey Uso defeats Gunther to win the World Championship
Jey Uso did it! After establishing one of the greatest tag teams with his brother Jimmy, Jey finally won his first singles World Championship in WWE. Uso tapped Gunther out with the former champion’s signature submission.
This match started slowly but picked up the pace after the first few minutes. While the referee was distracted, Gunther hit Uso with his championship title. Gunther displayed a few vicious chops throughout this match that heavily impacted Uso. This match was very physical, with each wrestler inflicting a ton of pain on the other. After winning the Royal Rumble in February, Uso fulfilled his journey of becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.
7:15 p.m. ET: Gunther vs. Jey Uso will open WrestleMania 41
Gunther is defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso in the first match at WrestleMania 41. Uso is looking to win his first singles title of his WWE career.
