Friday morning, social media star-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul announced that he will be fighting Julia Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 28 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Paul’s latest victory came against former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson in November 2024. Chavez Jr. beat former UFC fighter Uriah Hall in July 2024.
This will be Paul’s second fight against a former boxing champion. Paul has won five straight fights since suffering the first defeat of his career to Tommy Fury in February 2023. In his five-year boxing career, Paul is 11-1 with seven knockouts.
Chavez Jr. is 54-6-1 in his boxing career and is a former WBC Middleweight Champion. This fight between Paul and Chavez Jr. is scheduled for 10 rounds and will have a weight limit of 200 pounds. Chavez Jr. had his last 10-round fight in December 2021 against David Zegarra.
