Anthony Davis has spent most of the season trying to get healthy, and just in time for a win-or-go-home matchup, he’s playing quality basketball for the Dallas Mavericks.
With the Mavericks traveling to Sacramento to face the Kings in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament, Davis will be leaned on heavily in a do-or-die situation.
Here’s the featured Anthony Davis prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday night:
Best Anthony Davis Prop Bet on DraftKings Sportsbook
Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)
Davis has averaged 24.3 points and 12.0 rebounds across his last four games overall, and his form appears to be peaking at the perfect time.
In Dallas’ regular-season finale against Toronto, Davis put together a dominant all-around performance with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists — his first triple-double as a Maverick — while recording seven blocks.
He’s also been effective against Sacramento all season long. In four games against the Kings, Davis averaged 24.5 points and 14.5 rebounds with 4.8 assists. He cleared this line in multiple head-to-head matchups, and with the season on the line, he’s likely to see his usage climb even higher.
Dallas has struggled since Kyrie Irving suffered an ACL tear on March 3 — a game against Sacramento—but Davis’ recent production and role give him a clear path to another robust stat line. He’ll face a Kings frontcourt anchored by Domantas Sabonis and Jonas Valanciunas, who are limited defensively. The motivation level is high for Dallas to prove its detractors wrong at this point in the season.
“So, I’m looking forward to playing in one (Wednesday),” Max Christie said. “But being an observer on the bench for the Lakers the last two years, it’s definitely a different atmosphere. Everybody knows the nature of the game. It’s a win-or-go-home game, so both teams have a lot more juice. It’s going to be fun to play in (front of) a crowd, especially Sacramento. That place is tough to win in around this time of year.”
With everything at stake and Davis coming off a dynamic performance with plenty of rest, this prop has real appeal in what should be a high-intensity, high-workload game for the All-Star big man.
